Lawn/Weeds Spray Technician

Job Overview: Cameron’s Inc. is currently hiring lawn and weeds spray technicians. We are locally own and ran company servicing Charlotte and surrounding areas. The applicant must be able to work well both with a team and independently; and must be willing to learn. The applicant must be observant of small details and have a good work ethic. We are looking for people with a friendly personality and who are willing to grow with the company.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Store, mix, & apply chemical fertilizers, herbicides, fungicides and insecticides to appropriate locations in a timely and safe manner.
• Drive company vehicles (which may include truck and trailer) to and from job sites safely.
• Monitor condition of treated areas.
• Properly complete daily logs and other paperwork.
• Properly maintain truck and equipment
• Report any malfunctions of vehicles or equipment
• Perform other duties including but not limited to:
  • Simple irrigation repair
  • Simple landscape lighting repairs
  • Minor Lawn patching/repair
  • Assist other workers with their projects

Qualifications:

• Education level – High School or Equivalent Preferred
• Experience – Lawn Spraying Experience Preferred
• Specific skills – Accurately mixing chemicals based on individual product’s mix ratios and land coverage size.
• Personal characteristics – Must be willing to learn other aspects of our company. i.e. Irrigation repair, Landscape Lighting, Minor Lawn Patching/ Repair
• Licenses – Driver’s license required
• Physical abilities
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds alone
  • Must be able to work in all weather conditions
  • Must be able to operate motorized standing zero turn machines.
